The 32 guest rooms are delightful retreats where soothing colour schemes, antiques and the work of local artisans are married in a decor that is beautifully simple. Each room is unique and may feature a four-poster or canopy bed, a basin fashioned by a local potter, or a handmade quilt. Vaulted ceilings make some rooms especially spacious. Such modern conveniences as televisions are carefully hidden in specially designed armoires. The inn's massive walls (over five-feet thick at the base) create wide window wells that are sunny nooks for reading or enjoying the view over Elora Gorge.
Guest rooms are housed in the Main Mill, and in three special historic buildings: the Mill Granary, the Mill Cottage and the James Ross House. These buildings are nestled protectively next door to the Mil. The latter has a suite that is well-suited to a honeymoon or a romantic getaway, with its very secluded balcony over the Grand River; this suite has often been featured in travel and wedding publications.
All guest rooms are equipped with television, radio, alarm clock, complimentary high speed internet and working desk. All Regular & Premium rooms and Suites now have flat screen televisions. Some rooms have small kitchenettes, while others may have a seating area.
All guest rooms at the Elora Mill Inn are designated non-smoking.
Many of our rooms do overlook the Grand River and Elora Gorge, which is a wonderful view from the room; however the sound of the rushing water can be quite loud. If you are a light sleeper, we would suggest that you request a room that faces away from the water.
